Prototype: The experimental museum

Prototype: The Experimental Museum is a permanent destination for innovative, boundary-pushing experiences where art, media, and technology collide. A first of it’s kind transformative museum experience—right here in Columbus.

We partnered with the talented Prototype team to build a launch plan, provide thoughtful cross-channel media strategy and activate that plan to create buzz and drive visitors.

Mutiny immediately understood the DNA of Prototype and helped translate something abstract and experimental into a campaign that actually reached the right audiences. Smart targeting, bold creative instincts, and the kind of partnership you want when you’re building something completely new.

Building a team of

experienced talent.

When we got the call from the Prototype team, the ask was tricky, but exciting. With the museum preparing to open to the public, the internal Prototype team needed support across a variety of areas: brand communications, media planning, website creation, digital advertising, social strategy, measurement and more.

We jumped in fully, supporting key areas + bringing in expert partners to support other areas while remaining fast and efficient. Including incredible work from Kristyn Wilson Comms on earned media. Nomadic Circle capturing photography & videography. Greenline Creative building the web experience. Chrissy Montera supporting social among others.
