creating a focused growth plan
FOR GLOBAL MANUFACTURER & DISTRIBUTOR
Based in Cleveland, OH—this national manufacturer and distributor is a household name. Our team worked with this group to add a strategic lens to their approach to three connected, but isolated channels of acquisition. Our project consisted of a series of research activities, channel audits, focused learnings from collected insights and three unique but aligned roadmaps for execution. The work spanned multiple paid media channels, search, user experience and marketing analytics.

Impactful Growth
After alignment on recommended priorities and a steady roll-out of execution, the client saw immediate impact through improved efficiency from digital channels. A combination of higher engagement on adverts, improved focus on SEO areas of impact, and increased conversion rate through a more thoughtful user experience led to a ~15% increase in sales over the first year.
Sales INcrease
Our team had to take a pause and consider whether we were the RIGHT team to tackle a project with this level of complexity for an organization with a long history of success. After all, creating Surplus Value is one of our core values at Mutiny—can we really bring this sophisticated client team additional value above and beyond their current partners and team members? Luckily we took on the challenge and dove in with our A game.
We learned two things in the process.
One: When challenged with complexity, our team excelled. The more moving parts, the more our team was able to take the time to analyze and find gaps in execution. A giant moving organization will eventually get to the right destination, but not without substantial waste. Our team was able to zero in on key opportunities and prioritize those that would deliver the biggest return.
Two: An outside POV brings tremendous value. While the client’s team and existing partners were impressive—our external POV was able to diagnose process and opportunities in a way that those “inside the onion” simply could not see.
